ProfQing Zhong
Head of Digital Pathology and AI
Qing Zhong studied computer science at ETH Zurich and received his doctorate from the same university. He completed his postdoctoral training at the University Hospital Zurich. In 2017, he was appointed Assistant Professor at the Children's Medical Research Institute of the University of Sydney. This was followed by promotion to Associate Professor in 2023. In 2024, he returned to Zurich and is now Head of Digital Pathology and AI, leading the digitalization and AI transformation of all Sonic Suisse laboratories across Switzerland.
