Clinical Chemistry
A variety of diagnostic parameters can be identified in bodily fluids such as the blood, urine and cerebrospinal fluid. Every day, we analyse more than 3,500 sample tubes, generating an average of 18,000 measurements. Almost all analyses are performed daily – some several times a day – meaning we can return results in just a matter of hours. A high-performance laboratory EDP system is available to assist with the medical assessment of the results.
A fully automated sample distributor separates and barcodes the samples, which are then forwarded to the machine line or the relevant specialist department. This automated process increases safety and enhances sample traceability. The residual sample volume is documented in the system and stored in the serum bank.
