Cytology
Cytology is concerned with samples of single cells and small cell clusters that have been detached from a tissue structure, in contrast to histology, which is concerned with larger tissue samples or surgical specimens.
Cytodiagnostics is a rapid, precise, inexpensive and effective method whose main objective is to detect or rule out inflammatory, neoplastic or malignant cells.
Non-gynaecological cytology
This comprises all organ areas which are accessible for cytological examination by swabbing, puncture or fluid excretion.
Gynaecological cytology
Our range of examinations includes the conventional method as well as the thin-layer method in liquid medium.
