- Our pathologists regularly take part in a range of interdisciplinary tumour boards and,
- as part of our cooperation with various organ centres, we frequently participate in quality circles too.
- Our pathology team is happy to provide consultations and second opinions.
In order to provide excellent patient care, we strive to process samples and return results as quickly as we can. The processing time for the histological examination of biopsies is 12-24 hours, depending on when samples are submitted; for larger surgical specimens it is 2-3 working days; for cytology findings it is generally 12-24 hours, with rapid results available within 2 hours; and for molecular pathological analyses the processing time is 3-6 working days.
