Prof. Gabriela Baerlocher is a specialist in haematology and internal medicine and holds an FAMH in Haematology with a supplement in DNA/RNA. She trained and gained her clinical, diagnostic, teaching and research experience at Chur Cantonal Hospital, Berne University Hospital and Berne University, the University of Southern California and the City of Hope National Medical Center in Los Angeles, as well as at the Terry Fox Research Institute in Vancouver. She supplemented this portfolio with an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. The focal points of her work are in integrative haematological diagnosis and the development and standardisation of new analyses (screening for telomeropathies) and in personalised medicine. She has a good national and international network and is involved in various committees (SAKK, SBST) and organisations (DGHO, EHA).
